Red Balls

Chase has recently started to eat peas, which he enthusiastically labels "Ball!" along with every other spherical object he encounters. Tonight, on our evening stroll to the mailbox, he started yelling "Ball!  Ball!" and pointing to a plant in our front yard. Daddy was momentarily baffled, but it turns out he had spotted the tiny, red berries that were growing in the shrubbery.

Maybe those peas are improving his eyesight.
