As Mommy made a quick foray into King Soopers, Ace and Daddy had the tremendous fortune of watching a fire engine park just feet away. As the firemen went into the store for supplies, we made a thorough inspection of their vehicle.
Ace cruises down the hallway after his first morning at Temple Emmanuel. He seemed to have fun and the only piece of info he offered without prompting was that he had a fruit bar and raisins for snack.
Ace and Daddy spent a wonderful morning at the zoo, during which The Critter seemed more interested in the critters than he's ever been before. The bears, lemurs, hornbills, and gorillas all held his attention for record time (even if some of them were rather indifferent towards him).
A wonderful thing happened in Denver today, as the city celebrated a European style "Viva Streets" event, closing down 23rd Street from our house to City Park. We biked the length of 23rd, stopping along the way to enjoy pastries, parks, and some collaborative drumming.
As Daddy worked on other projects in the garage, The Little Engineer constructed an intricate and precarious tower. He then, of course, took great pride in "Destructo-ing" it. All in the name of quality assurance, we're sure.
