Four Fantastic Friends
The never ending birthday festival may finally have drawn to a close with our official party today, which included Parker, Jamey, and Erin. Temps soared, cake was devoured, and good times were had by all.
Please do not send any more gifts -- it's time to wrap up this year's celebration before Chase starts believing that b-days are month-long events.

The Big Three
The Critter turned three today, and celebrated at school and at home. We were lucky enough to have Papa, Nanna, and Nanna K on Skype for some gift opening and the official singing of Happy Birthday.
The highlight may have been blowing out the candles which, once it was done, he asked to do again.
We are looking forward to the unknown adventures on his next trip around the sun. Hope to see you all on that journey.

Spicy Imagination
Enjoying brunch at Udi's, Ace suddenly grabbed the salt and pepper shakers and began acting out dramas between Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, characters on his favorite show, Blues Clues.
Even more interestingly, he removed the cap from the Tabasco sauce and declared that to be their child, Baby Paprika. As Grandpa often declares, imagination is such an important characteristic!

Spaced Out
In our ongoing attempt to set the record for most visits, Ace and Daddy ventured once again to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science this morning. The Little Engineer was particularly fascinated by this exhibit in the Space area, in which ball bearings are shot into sand to demonstrate how space debris create craters.
