Late Night at the Library

We are blessed to have a new library that stays open late on Wednesday evening. That allows the critter, Mommy and Daddy to visit together. Tonight Chase found his best book friend Maisy and read a book about going to school.

Kid's Play

Ace had the special experience of going to Great Play with Mommy AND Daddy, to make up for a missed class earlier in the week. He bowled, jumped, swung, rolled, and hula-hooped his way to a great time!

You've Got Mail

Ace took his evening ride to the mailbox only to discover that HE actually got some mail. This particular letter was from the dentist, praising his cooperation during the recent visit.

Drivers Ed

Chase got his first driving lesson today. He especially enjoyed learning how to flash his brights - and not just his pearly ones!

Chompers

The Critter proudly shows off his pearly whites during his first trip to the dentist. Surprisingly, he did sit still enough to receive a thorough exam and a clean bill of dental health.

En Suite

Chase ordered room service and dined en suite this evening.

Brothers and a Buddy

Jamey and Jackson stopped by to play with Ace today. Trying to get them all to look at the camera and say cheese was impossible.

Party Crew

Ace enthusiastically hosted a double birthday party for Sam and Caleb this afternoon. Festivities included lawn basketball, soccer, chalk art, water-bottle-spraying, and Chase's semi-solo rendition of "Happy Birthday to You!"

... And they clearly enjoyed the cup cakes!

Bubble Boy

Ace takes advantage of the bubble-wrap lined moving truck at the Transportation Exploration at the University of Denver this morning.

In addition to popping air, the Kid checked out garbage trucks, fire engines, backhoe loaders and countless smaller vehicles. They we're all very cool, he assures you.

One Crazy Summer

Stapleton pools closed up today in fine fashion -- music, dancing, splashing, and lots o' people. Ace took a break from the festivities to recharge his batteries and show off his style.

Trucks n' Waffles

The family enjoyed breakfast out at Waffle Brothers as part of our long weekend festivities. While Mommy and Daddy focused on the food, Ace particularly enjoyed the house toys.

Mile High City

The Critter gazes at downtown Denver -- and the magnificent Rockies beyond -- from the Museum of Science and Nature. We also enjoyed the dino bones, moon rocks, and (his favorite exhibit) the escalator!
