Oh Snap
Doesn't it look like Ace is snapping his fingers? I'm not sure what he's doing here, but it definitely is not snapping his fingers. He'll learn soon enough.

Wingman
Ace checks out a Blackhawk helicopter as part of a local Touch-A-Truck event this morning. He also had up-close-and-personal interactions with a fire engine, city bus, dump truck, limo, ambulance, front loader, and tow truck. Ironically, the best part of the day was running around the empty back of a mattress delivery truck.

Little Brother
Chase got to try out having a little brother this morning. Mommy looked after Jackson, Jamey's little bro, while Jamey went to the dentist. Ace and Mommy agree that baby Jackson is wonderful, but we also decided they are happy with the way things are. We are sure Daddy will concur.

Independent Play
In a stunning move, the Critter played by himself for about 15 minutes this evening. Long enough for Mommy to do some prep work for dinner without the little guy pulling on her clothes.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
SOAR had a few hundred tickets to today's Rockies/Braves game so Ace tagged along to enjoy his second MLB game. (He made it to Fenway when he was just a few months old, but admits that memories of that trip are hazy.)
Fortunately, Coors Field actually has a playground where the Kid passed some time while Daddy and some students were on the field being introduced -- really! He lasted half a hotdog and two innings (one inning per year of life seems appropriate) before we called it an afternoon.
